Janice, I see the evangelicals struggling to shape America because this is the complete opposite of what they are actually supposed to be doing.

It is the job of the church to be a light unto the world and lead by example and as far as the words of Jesus go this involves a heavy mix of love, help, tolerance and forgiveness. Evangelism isn’t a war that requires warriors, it is supposed to be a movement that forces us to ask the constant question ‘what does love require of us?’

By attempting to use politics to enforce the word of god they will forever be ice skating up hill against a very resistant populace.
