Microlocation is normally a users’ position within a building or small area. It may be related to U1 functionality. This could be giving the user the option of opting out of the Find My network (helpful if you are worried about stalking or something) or it could be a bigger play by Apple to allow users to see where family members are within large indoor areas like malls.
