Musk buying Twitter is like Dracula buying Hell: nobody is going to notice the difference.
He will quickly realise that Twitter as a platform has no real use. You talk of people shouting loudest but forgot to ask if anybody actually cared what they were shouting about. If it shut down tomorrow, would anyone really care?
What Musk should have done is privatise the company and then transfer ownership over to the United Nations where rather than a platform for joe public to air their vapid opinions on things it becomes a PSA system that can be used by governments, media agencies and charities to let people know what is going on.
You would ban personal accounts for the everyday citizen and celebrities and instead require all users to be verified civil servants, companies and nonprofits and charge them a flat $5/m membership. Citizens could then still follow whatever entities they wanted but have no interactions.
