Once they give it a facetime camera and 24-hour battery the Apple Watch may well supplant the smartphone as the de facto communication standard as it has all the positives but very few of the negatives.

I'd disagree about it being the best smartwatch ever. The Pebble Time had a 5-day battery, fitness tracking, was waterproof and a whimsical interface straighyt from a Nintendo game.
