One thing I've always appreciated about Assassin's Creed is how they go out of their way to cast a native as the main character. I loved Noah Watts as Ratohnaké:ton in AC3 and even going as far as casting Matt Ryan, a Welshman as the Welsh Edward Kenway.

Despite being my favourite games in the series I do find it uncomfortable listening to the otherwise great Roger Craig Smith do an Italian accent for Ezio though. Could they not find an Italian actor?!
