One thing I've found we all chase is peace. That inner calm knowing everything is ok, even when sometimes its not. Some people might mistake this for stoicism or an easy life but I think its much more than that.

For me peace comes with satisfaction in knowing I have helped others, that today I have made some difference to the world, however small.

"'I wish it need not have happened in my time,' said Frodo. 'So do I,' said Gandalf, 'and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
