One thing that I think skews Tesla is their position as a US manufacturer where long distances are the norm.

Here in Europe we have winding country roads, narrow city streets and shorter commutes. What I'd like to see from Tesla is a model equivalent to the Fiat 500 or Toyota Aygo: a small hatchback with a 100-mile battery that is more agile than the SUV/Sedan designs they currently sell.
