Samsung Dex can be properly brilliant. Having a direct video out means I can output emulators and video to a hotel TV or connect a small M&K and have a bigger workspace than a laptop. It saved my hide a few times when my laptop died and I needed to give a presentation. If all you need is web and office its ok.

But its also Android and opposite to all that flexibility is a lack of power apps that iOS (well, iPadOS) does so well at. An iPhone isn't great hooked up to an external display but an iPad is.
