The biggest danger is what it will do to the job market. Past technologies made certain jobs redundant but created new opportunities. If AI removes all working class employment, what does that market look like? How are out political systems going to cope with millions of people not being told they are unwanted but rather they are now redundant?

These are the questions we need to be asking now. They put up a border wall at Mexico but didn't put a firewall around California.
