The incremental improvements add up. No sane person* really upgrades more than twice a decade. If you're coming to a new model from a 12 or 13 series then there is a lot to be excited about. If you're switching annually it might be time to ask if you need to bother.

*I am not one of these people. I used to switch my phone every 6 months due to boredom. It was a waste of my time and money.
