The industry is going through a transitional phase of acceptance, where tech that was once new and exciting has just become normalised.
Buying an iPad is like buying a new washing machine. It can be interesting (I just got a great new model that hardly uses any water, is quiet as a mouse and can do a whole load in an hour) but it hardly gets the blood pumping like it used to.
We as users now have to come to terms with this lack of excitement though and find it elsewhere. Lewis, I don't think you need to replace the M2 Pro at all. Think of like a loyal hound!
