The iPad Apps I Actually Use At Work

My desk, tidier than last time.

I might be a bit of an outlier in using an iPad Pro alongside my work PC.

I work in a construction laboratory and have a job that differs so much on a daily basis I need a computer than can keep up. And yes, the iPad is a computer. With its plethora of applications, great battery life and light chassis the iPad Pro is perfect for carting around campus or up and down the country. When sat at my desk its sometimes just more efficient than using a PC.

Because you’re sick to death of Medium articles detailing yet another way to take notes on a tablet though, I thought it might be fun to explore applications that help me in my line of work:

Let’s start with an easy one. Apple’s answer to Microsoft Publisher is an incredibly flexible document creation app 10x better than Word or GDocs. With a rich set of templates and access to some fonts you cannot get elsewhere I use Pages nearly every week.
