The man himself said it first: “Judge not…, They who are without sin…., Plank in your eye….” And so on.

In other words the church has no right or place to judge anyone outside its own congregation. As Christians we should hold each other accountable but because those outside the church live their lives in a different way to us and operate by a different moral code (not a wrong one, just different) based on their own individual life experiences, anything less than love and respect is a hypocrisy they can see right through.
