The Pixel 6 is a great phone. My son has one and the photos are breathtaking and after 6 months still works flawlessly. Google has a habit of borking their phones with a software update that introduces some battery drain they never fix (like your Pixel 2) but so far so good.

However an iPhone is actually the best Google phone. You can replace 90% of the default apps with Google services if you're tied into that but you also get better hardware, a better app store (with a much better games selection) and a wider compatibility.
