There actually isn't much the iPad isn't capable of. Shapr3D is a CAD/Technical Drawing app easily as good as AutoCAD/Fusion from Autodesk. Lumafusion is brilliant for hardcore video.

One thing the iPad doesn't get enough praise for is on-device Photogrammetry. Even with a top-spec PC and several hundred DSLR photos it can take a regular computer over 5 hours to process the photos into a 3D model, often with poor results.

Due to using the LiDAR to build a basic mesh to apply the photos to, the iPad is capable of detailed model generation in a few minutes.
