There are not enough claps on the Internet, Dan. I was looking for a way to cover what you wrote but you've put it in a much better way that I ever could (and helpfully to a much larger audience too!)

This entire week has been a very tiresome one in politics, and I say this as an Ignorant Englishman looking over at our former colonies rather than someone directly under this new regime.

But Bishop Budde's words were the kind of manstream coverage of the actual gospel message that gets very little airtime compared to the other side who seem more concerned about telling people what they hate than helping anyone. It was such an uplifting breath of fresh air in a time of unspeakable verbal pollution.

As Christians we are charged to love unconditionally and that means calling out marginalisation whereever we see it, not supporting it. If the President thinks Ms. Budde is a radical socially-left firebrand he's going to really lose his mind when he hears about this Jesus guy.
