There is a strong arguement that this year the regular 15 presents such a strong case that the regular 15 Pro shouldn't really exist. The addition of USB-C, the updated design and a 2x zoom on the camera means that your extra $200 is buying you an extra bit of zoom and VRR.

I mean if that's worth it to you then go nuts. But whilst the Max has the 5x camera and the battery to back up all the video features and gaming prowess your basic 15 Pro is just a little, well basic.
