A collapse of major labels will mean musicians having to do a ‘Frank Turner’ and get out on the road to earn a crust. Music hasn’t been about album sales for a long time.

Much like every other area of our lives, music will become more hyper localised as local bands become more popular in their community as word of mouth naturally spreads. The internet will inevitably mean their popularity pockets around the world

Their presence will continue to add cultural value to their city rather than having them move away to another part of the world and lose something along the way (See: Arctic Monkeys vs Sherlocks)
