This is kind of the point though. Most users don’t upgrade their devices every three years. When Apple makes these presentations they’re not speaking to those who bought a 15. Innovations across all phone is glacial but it eventually snowballs. We have to zoom out and look at the bigger picture.

They (and everybody else) could follow the games console model and release a new model every 5 years which would be a little more packed. But this would require everyone to be on the same schedule.

As an iPhone 13 user there is loads to make me buy a 16. But as a Pixel 6 user they packed the same great camera into some filed down sides. It works both ways.
