This is the scientific equivalent of putting a sticking plaster on a broken leg. Climate Change and Global Heating are side effects of our addiction to finite reserves of fossil fuels and geo engineering isn’t going to halt their extraction and exploitation.

Yes we need them for the manufacture of renewables but limiting their use would make them go a lot further and help alleviate the suffering of our species. I’d say the Earth but the planet doesn’t care if we live or die. Humans get wiped out and the Earth will naturally recover its biosphere until some other species comes along and gets another go.
