Those people cannot afford basics because the state won’t let them. The republicans want to have a $1.5Tn tax giveaway to their rich benefactors by cutting the programs that support the very bottom of society, tell them its their own fault they’re poor and to then spread the myth that overpopulation and immigration are to blame for state infrastructure falling apart.
