Unless you’re a YouTuber who sees dozens of phones a year or some sort of nutter like myself who changes every 6 months out of tedium (I had 7 phones last year. Maybe I need help?) most people will only have existed in their bubble and been there for years.

They will therefore be basing their opinions of the ‘opposition’ on a quick go in a retail store or what a 3rd party has said. I have a friend who would never consider an Android phone because he thinks they’re all crap and another group who will have nothing to do with Apple because of a lack of utility. It’s a shame really.

In 20 years I’ve out seen Symbian, WebOS, Windows Phone and Harmony. I’ve seen iOS go from the market leader to complacency and Google transform Android from a child’s colouring book into something professional.

And none of them were any better than the other.
