We scratched beneath the veil of our reality and found mathematics and natural law holding it all in place together with a self-replicating genetic code whose only core function is to ensure it continues to replicate.

I don't think we live in a simulation as our reality is built from atoms rather than polygons but I do find it interesting that scratching beneath the surface does reveal a kind of programming, in which case where is the programmer?
