We the audience need to wake up to the fact that maybe the tech news cycle just isn’t a valid form of entertainment anymore.

Most pieces of tech haven’t moved much in decades. Cars still look the same as they did 20 years ago. Every laptop sold still looks like a PowerBook G4. It’s a given videogames look great.

Just because we’ve lived through a time of unprecedented technological progress doesn’t mean that it should continue.
