We were taught in teacher training that the average attention span of a person is their age plus 7 minutes. This was 20 years ago.

These days you might be sat in church but also worrying about putting on the second load of laundry, when the dog needs a walk, what you're going to have for dinner or just wanting to check your phone.

Does fast-paced life demand fast-paced church? We don't want to reduce faith to the background but perhaps a lengthy diatribe is best consumed as a podcast whilst folding the laundry or doing the dishes?
