What I see is a forthcoming decade of isolationism from the USA. If the populace likes what he does we're looking at President Vance in 2029.

What does a world look like without the USA having a credible say in how its ran? Who knows. It may embolden China to seek greater trade ties with Europe. If the US pulls funding for Ukraine Putin might not stop there. The EU has never collectively had to defend itself before.

But what if it has unintended positive outcomes, not for America but for hee in the UK? A forthcoming brain-drain of English-speaking scientific talent might be attracted to Britain, bolstering our R&D. A frosty White House might thaw relations with the EU leading to a now-popular idea of reintegration.

When life gives you lemons, put a twist in your Earl Grey :)
