What we need is NFT certification backed up by physical assets. I can see a huge advantage in having, for example cryptographic deeds or car ownership slips that link back to the registration or address, something that cannot usually be tampered with.

The current model of applying scarcity to digital information will never work. As we have seen with music, movies and games it is too easy to copy data, even something that is supposedly secure.

What we will probably end up with is a mixture of server and blockchain tech where the data that needs to be secure is stored across nodes but the app itself is still centralised.
