When the people at the top (say the OS designers at Apple?) can't even obey basic design rules like ergonomics you know there is a problem. Umpteen broken screens are caused because a user lost grip on their phone trying to get something out of reach of their thumbs.
If AI is being trained on datasets that ignore basic design laws then heaven help us all. UX is more than just a software interface; look at the position of that new camera button, too far along for an index finger to reach just because they wanted symmetry with the power button. Figma and AI didn't design the iPhone 16, just humans who should know better.
