Where Apple excel is in the ecosystem. They're not the leaders in any one particular space but the way the products is greater than the sum.

Android does offer some terrific handsets though at reasonable prices. I think the base iPhone is priced appropriately but you can get the same spec device for half the price. Nothing and Google have really thrown down the gauntlet this year with the Nothing 2a, CMF and Pixel 8a really making people question the value of pricier models.
