Why not ergonomics though? I’ve dropped my phone numerous times reaching for things outside my thumb hot zones; why are there any interactions outside this area at all? It wouldn’t be hard to have notifications stack from the bottom of the screen or have Control Center sit one to the right in the multitasking view. All the beauty in the world cannot cover up some pretty glaring faults.
