Yes. Yes. YES.

That last point still bugs me. iOS and Android were both initially designed for screens you could reach with your thumb.

Phones got bigger but the OS never got redesigned for it. There should be no interactions outside the bottom 60% of a phone screen. Those floating icons should not be there, or at least they should sink downwards.

The lack of icon packs (and watch faces.....) is sadly down to Apple's tight control over its brand image.
