Your point is quite valid and needs a metaphysical debate I feel the comments section of Medium is ill-equipped for. We could be sat until last orders in the pub debating such things! That is an open invitation btw if you live anywhere near Sheffield, UK!

I'm not normally one to start quoting scripture because often it is taken out of context but nowhere in the bible does it say that belief in God will somehow make you immune to bad things suffering. (and if someone ever told you this in church then they got it wrong and on their behalf I apologise) Jesus said quite the opposite and that belief in him would always come with a side order of hardship but his point was belief in him helps overcome it because hardship comes to us all regardless of what we do or do not believe.

On the subject of evil, good and evil are moving targets and what one generation considers to be good can quite easily turn into an evil a few centuries later as we as a society well know. Jesus sold a universal message of kindness, respect and dignity which are things that never go out of date.

On a separate note I absolutely love your Cactuar avatar! What is your favourite FF game?
