YouTube ads are, at the end of the day revenue for creators. Every unsponsored video, such as those from gaming streamers is paid for out of ads. By blocking them we are depriving the very people we rely on for information and enjoyment of livelihood.

Video and TV have always been ad supported. What I will block are websites that shove video in my face when I’m trying to read an article and only unblock sites that run in-line ads.
